If you are looking for a caregiver to help you care for your spouse or another family member at home, please consider James Brongo.
I have been caring for my husband's Parkinson's disease and dementia for five years, gradually adding more outside help as needed. During the last six months of 2016, as my husband lost more of his physical abilities, caregivers needed to be strong enough to move him from bed to chair, to wheelchair to shower, or into a car. Two caregivers who were already working for us recommended James. I could see that James understood my husband's needs and that he is committed to his profession.
Several other important personal qualities James also exhibited that I appreciate are he is friendly, Trustworthy and very reliable and punctual.

James Brongo (Jim) has been a trusted caregiver for Tom, for several years. James is an employee of Senior Bridge/Humana, and has been an hourly companion for Tom during the following times. From 2015 to the spring of 2017, James was the main alternate caregiver and since the spring of 2017, he has been Tom's caregiver two days per week. Tom has a combination of Parkinson's and Dystonia which limits his movements and has resulted in a wheelchair use most of the time. Tom needs assistance with moving around in the wheelchair, getting meals, laundry of clothes and bedding, medication reminders, empty catheter collection container, etc. James also drives Tom in Tom's car to various errands, drugstore for medication refills, doctors visits, shopping, and lunches out. James helps Tom into and out of the car, takes the wheelchair apart and lifts it into the car and puts it back together when they return. James has been very reliable, always on time, very honest and will do any task as requested. James has always been cheerful and positive with Tom and encourages him to complete tasks. James would be a trusted and reliable caregiver for any older person needing assistance.

In February 2017 I was hospitalized with a virus and heart problems. From Mayo hospital I went to rehab at Acacia, which is at Sagewood. In March I was to be sent home. My daughter contacted the Foothills Caring Corps in Carefree, for a caregiver. Looking over the various lists, they chose James Brongo. He was available and arrived shortly after I arrived back home. He made the bed, did the laundry, went for the mail, put out trash, and recycling. He washed dishes, went to CVS for prescriptions, answered the telephone, set up dishes for meals on wheels, and most important, help in and out of the shower. He still comes over on my schedule, for over a year now and is very clean, cordial, helpful and organized.
